In Vietname, Vannamei shirmp – Thẻ chân trắng ( Litopenaeus vannamei ) is widely cultivated and has a high growth rate, allowing for consistent availability throughout the year. The efficient farming techniques and large-scale production have helped make it more affordable compared to other types of shrimp, making it accessible to a larger consumer base.

+ Factors of shrimp grade A : The skin should be hard, it means that it is of good quality, if it is loose, it does not mean that it is spoiled, it means that the shrimp was not caught at a good time. carapace: Its color should be brownish or portuguese, it has good quality, and green color means that shrimp used algae, and red color means that the shrimp was under pressure when it was caught. The gills of the shrimp should be brown, which means that it is of good quality, and it should not be yellow, which means that the shrimp is stressed.
