Milkfish or Milk Fish , also known as Chanos chanos, is a popular delicacy that is widely consumed in many parts of the world . In the Philippines where it is the "National Fish", it is called Bangus while in Indonesia more popular as Bandeng.
Raw Milkfish having an elongated & toned body with yellow, silvery scales. This versatile fish is found in the Indo-Pacific region, including coastal areas of Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands .
Our Milkfish are caught at brackish water in southern Vietnam. It has long body, different from short-body Milkfish, sea-caught in Phillipine / Indonesia. Sea-caught Milkfish also has black membrance in belly.
