Grey Mullet, Cefalo, Bora, ボラ, Bata , Cá Đối is one of the most commercially important species of countries. Grey mullet is found in waters globally. Grey Mullet have an elongated & rather stout body. Grey Mullet / Bata have a dark silvery skin at the back fading to silver on the belly and covered with a generous jacket of scales.
Grey Mullet, Cefalo can be confused with seabass, but have a broad flat head and larger scales.
Our Grey Mullet are caught in mangrove forest near sea-gates & southern Vietnam seas. It's also called by Mangrove Mullet. Mostly during spring and summer, but it is active all year long. Commercial harvesters use a cast / beach or haul seine net to catch Grey mullet.
Every year, we distribute a large quantity Frozen Grey Mullet fish throughout the world.
